Ecstatic Dance CNX

In Ecstatic Dance we attune to rhythm and move freely to where the music takes us, opening to the possibility of trance and feelings of ecstasy. Dancers connect to their own body and emotions while sharing the space with others. We co-create a healing journey in which everyone feels safe, yet able to try new things and push their edges! There will be an eclectic and immersive musical wave with a brief opening and closing circle.

We dance without shoes, without words, and just as we are...

• No Drugs or Alcohol

• No Phones or Camera/Video

• No Expectations, No Judgements…

Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another...

DJ Jodo (Johnny Doyle): I've been dancing and performing for 40 years. I love to play African, Latin, House and Tribal Trance in Ecstatic Dance - music that is strong yet subtle, poly-rhythmic and often surprising!
